POSITION OVERVIEW
As a fast-growing EdTech company, we are seeking a strategic Product Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role will partner closely with product management, sales, and revenue enablement to plan, develop, and launch impactful products that address critical needs in the K-12 education market. As a key contributor, you will have a deep understanding of our customer segments and will be instrumental in defining how we price, position, and communicate about our products from inception through launch and beyond. You will champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that our products resonate with the market and solve pressing challenges faced by our customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategy
- Partner with product management to provide input on market needs, pricing, and positioning during product development to ensure alignment with customer expectations and demands.
- Lead the creation of go-to-market (GTM) plans for product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing Services, and Sales to ensure a seamless execution.
- Be the company’s expert on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity, utilizing these insights to influence product strategy and go-to-market approaches. Create, implement and maintain a process to capture and disseminate competitive intelligence.
Product Marketing & Collaboration
- Develop clear, differentiated product positioning, messaging, and marketing content that demonstrates the unique value of our products for target customer segments.
- Support demand generation by developing compelling content, whitepapers, sales presentations, and customer success stories, that communicates product benefits effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and revenue enablement to develop materials that clearly communicate our value proposition, focusing on solving customer problems rather than feature and functions.
- Partner with Marketing Managers to ensure ongoing communications and outreach within target states incorporate product benefit messaging into upsell, retention, and conversion action plans.
- Implement tools and process to ensure product messaging is aligned across all internal teams.

- Proficiency in working with teams to ensure initiatives and projects are scoped and prioritized appropriately at the onset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying product marketing strategy and needs to internal stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Insights and Analytics
- Strong ability to listen and ask the right questions from prospects and customers to uncover their most pressing problems, even when they can't articulate them, and leverage those learnings to inform product strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and inform efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing within SaaS, with a focus on K-12 edtech.
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, enablement and sales teams to execute successful product launches.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Deep understanding of customer segmentation, product positioning, and competitive analysis.
- Experience creating content that aligns with the customer journey and addresses real customer pain points.
- Experience working with revenue enablement teams to create effective sales tools and ensure product-market fit.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an ownership mentality.
- Experience and overall curiosity in leveraging AI tools and resources to support more efficient and effective outcomes.

Salary Range: $130,000 + commensurate with experience and qualifications. Bonus eligible
