Position Overview:
You will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base by promoting our healthcare software solutions to clinics, healthcare professionals, and other industry stakeholders. You will work closely with the leadership team, healthcare organizations, and prospects to understand their needs and demonstrate how our platform can help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Identify and engage potential healthcare clients (healthcare providers, practice administrators, etc.).
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying leads, to closing deals.
- Deliver tailored sales presentations and product demos to key decision-makers.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers, administrators, and executives.
- Understand clients’ business needs and pain points to recommend the best solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Offer consultative advice to clients on how to optimize healthcare operations and improve practice success using our software.
Market Analysis & Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in healthcare SaaS.
- Continuously improve knowledge of our product offerings and their value proposition to effectively communicate to prospects.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration for new clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Provide feedback from the field to improve our product offerings and sales approach.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Understanding of the healthcare industry, including its regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and key challenges.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and deliver solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while collaborating with internal teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, etc.) and sales reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel, including attending industry conferences and tradeshows and in-person meetings with physician practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare software solutions such as EHR, EMR, telemedicine, or health data analytics platforms.
- Established relationships with healthcare organizations or decision-makers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 with a tiered commission structure beginning at 2%. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members.
