POSITION SUMMARY: The coordinator will support our National Lending team generally and the Commercial Real Estate group specifically, with involvement across all business lines. The coordinator will be responsible for managing third party due diligence on all originated and purchased loans, maintaining collateral databases and ensuring accuracy of reporting, compiling underwriting packages for approval and assisting with audit requests, among other tasks. The coordinator will act as a general resource for the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Real Estate Data Management – maintain collateral records in nCino (Salesforce); ensure real estate information is boarded accurately upon closing; manage all data related to collateral value updates and changes throughout the life of loans.
- Third Party Due Diligence for Commercial Real Estate Loans – order property inspections and environmental reports for loans in underwriting and in the Bank’s portfolio, manage vendor relationships and information flow to and from third party contractors and vendors.
- Appraisal Management – solicit bids, engage appraisers, and monitor receipt of appraisal reports.
- Reporting – maintain Approved Appraiser List, ensuring licensing and insurance information is up to date; manage and build ad hoc collateral reports as requested.
- Loan Acquisitions Support –aggregate and organize purchased loan files for underwriting and monitor for updates. Compile final underwriting packages for senior management approval.
- Assist Loan Servicing with boarding information as needed.
- Work with Accounts Payable department to process invoices for due diligence expenses.
- Prepare files for regulatory exams and respond to audit requests.
- Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-3 years in administrative or support roles within banking, loan operations or commercial real estate lending environment preferred.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multi-task and self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with Salesforce; willingness to work within in-house loan management systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parties inside and outside of the bank, in written and verbal formats
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs.
- Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as calculator, copy machine and printers.
- Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level.
